The United Soccer league (USL)

Has a league dedicated to woman befittingly called the USL-W league.

Over the summer, I had the privilege of being the home sports announcer, hosting The Laval Cometes Soccer Club belonging to the USL league.

The USL – W league  Regroups 5 divisions (Central, Eastern Atlantic, South Eastern, North Eastern and Western). The teams span  across Canada and the USA with 30 semi-professional Woman’s teams battling for the coveted sponsor ships, peer recognition and of course the championship title.

The talent is amazingly competitive and truly a joy to watch, In fact the Laval Cometes have produced 7 players for their National team that will represent Canada In Japan next August 2012 during the U20 F Championships.
