With the recognition of having over 6500 voice over projects under his belt, Claudio Napoleoni from CN Voiceovers still finds the time to give back to his community in many ways. When not behind the mic recording, he directs recording sessions. getting the most out of every performer is what motivates him to keep the industry alive. Using English and French and Spanish is a true asset, says Claudio. Every opportunity he gets, Claudio spends time in his greenhouse, where winter crops are plentiful and he takes advantage of the cold to grow veggies that thrive in winter such as Lettuces, Onions, Spinach, Microgreens, Garlic and shallots which he then consumes of course, but gives away the excess to those in need in his community. It kinda feels like a super power to be able to use your skills in order to better other people’s lives around you in a meaningful way, he adds.
Its been 3 years since I’ve started growing veggies in winter and its sooo rewarding! to me it is very important to give back, from expertise, to your skills, your talent or even your contribution, if you have something physical like produce.. people in need appreciate that directly… and it feel good to give.

Being versatile, in that I am able to act voice and direct often opens doors to fun projects such as this one where I had the pleasure of playing 2 characters to match the English Tv Commercial dubbed into French. This is but one of a series of ads that aired in 2023.
Yeah, how else do you reach out to someone whom you haven’t spoken to in over 20 years, right?
Well things and people change, life moves at galactic warp speed, so its only normal that you turn around, for just one second…. only to find that YEARS have gone by!
When you’re in the #voiceover business… or any media business for that matter…Time can be a friend or a foe! In my case, it has brought back so many acquaintances that relish in the fact that we have all grown up! It seems I have more in common with them NOW than I ever did! Family, travels, likes and dislikes… but also the passion for our work.
To make a long story short, I’ve spoken to a few people over the years through LINKEDIn with whom I have keeped in touch. It seems ONE DAY, someone has a gig for me !

It was just like giving Candy …no, a mountain of candy to a child! Its been a while but I thought I would share this.. . because I am grateful to these same people who have opened sooo many doors for me since! Needless to say, sometimes what seems like an unattainable dream, feat or endeavor…TRULY IS POSSIBLE.
What I have learned from ITS BEEN A WHILE.. is that people can truly surprise you with their connections and knowledge… REACH OUT to people you know because in my opinion…no one is out to get you, on the contrary, they likely share the same views you do, which are enjoy the moments you can and help others achieve their moments too!
There is so much enjoyment that comes from that!

How fast are you moving when you’re sitting still? Though it seems we are at rest here on earth, each instant we are drifting through space at mind boggling speed. Since the speed is constant (no acceleration), we don’t “feel” it.

La première demie a été partagée du côté de la possession de balle. Ce n’est qu’à la 17e minute sur un long dégagement de Geneviève Richard que Catherine Charron-Delage s’échappa et enfila ce qui allait devenir le but gagnant. À la fin de la mi-temps, les deux équipes, très stables défensivement, laissaient déjà planer un match à bas pointage.
En deuxième demie, les Comètes sont à nouveaux sorties en force. Nkem Ezurike, toujours une menace contra Ottawa a manqué quelques occasions donc une échappée seule contre Jasmine Philips. Malgré une augmentation de la pression, le Fury n’a pas réussi en enlever le troisième blanchissage de la saison à Geneviève Richard.
« Je suis très fière de tout le monde. On a imposé notre plan de match et les filles n’ont pas lâché, c’était une bataille jusqu’au dernier coup de sifflet. Kathryn Acton et moi se sont regardée en disant que nous avons pris sept ans pour ces 3 points ! Enfin ! » – mentionne la nouvelle entraîneure Cindy Walsh

HMI, Human Machine interface modules are found in almost everything we use. Of course they are found in different shapes, sizes and forms. Some are tactile (touch screen) some are elastomeric or capacitive keypads, But one thing is for sure, Their use is almost as necessary in today’s digital age and numbers and letters in our communication lingo. The reason for their popularity is that they enable simple tasks for operators and although they give the impression of a seemingly easy technology… they are nothing but. Few companies stand out in this field more than GGI. A company, for whom I have had a tremendous privilege of working with, while performing a Corporate Video Presentation Voice Over.
You see, for years working this kind of technology on a daily basis, I thought it was high time, I explored the facets of the HMI world a little more closely.

Elastomeric keypads are used in so many places, we do not even realise how elaborate they are. The most obvious use is… in that of a remote control. Whether it be for a TV, a lift truck, slicing machines, ATVs, a helicopter joystick OR as simple as a clicker for your car starter. But I digress… founder Peter Graham truly knows what it takes to succeed!
